Butter is a common ingredient in thousands of recipes. By creating Cannabutter, you will have the ability to effectively medicate while enjoying your favorite dishes.

MMJ infused butter, more commonly referred to as "Cannabutter," is simple to make and stores well in the refrigerator for prolonged use.

The percentage of THC levels in your MMJ will be represented in the strength of the butter. High THC levels in the MMJ will produce a stronger butter. To calculate your dosage, visit our link here --> http://goo.gl/eimLLl

Once we've calculated the proper dosage, we need to Decarboxylate our MMJ. Sounds scientific, but it's merely a fancy word for activating the THC in the plant. Marijuana plants contain THCA, which by itself is not psychoactive. When MMJ is heated, the THCA molecule is "Decarboxylated" into the THC (psychoactive) form.

Directions

Preheat oven to 210

1- Grind your MMJ into small grounds and spread evenly over a cookie sheet

2- Place cookie sheet into the oven for 60 minutes, checking every 15 minutes for browning. Turn over if browning.

Your MMJ is now Decarboxylated and ready to make butter. It is recommended that you use Salted butter.

Equipment needed

1 Medium saucepan

1 Wooden spoon

1 Cheesecloth or fine metal strainer

1 Container for finished butter

3- Melt the butter on low heat in a medium saucepan

4- Add the ground buds gradually, stirring as you add

5- Simmer on low heat for 45 minutes, stirring frequently (you should see small bubbles slowly forming)

6- Strain the butter into your container using the cheesecloth or metal strainer (Squeeze all excess butter out of the plant material)

Seal the lid and toss it into the refrigerator. For easy measuring and proper dosage, we recommend using butter molds to form your Cannabutter.
